Documentaries
One of my latest projects involved planning, filming, and editing a 30-minute documentary to promote charity running events across England. I filmed in my home city of Brighton at Stanmer Park with a presenter to educate viewers about the event format while inspiring those who may lack confidence to participate. I worked closely with the presenter to interview event organisers, volunteers, participants and supporters, gathering a diverse range of insights and information about the event and whats to come! My dedication to this project ensured a polished final product that not only showcases the events but also resonates with potential runners, highlighting the community spirit and personal triumphs at the heart of charity running.

This short film represents a milestone for both me and my friend; it was our first venture into filmmaking with high-quality equipment, and we were eager to push our creative boundaries. We chose an ambitious narrative for this project - a simple, interview-style dialogue between two characters, with the goal to transform this seemingly straightforward premise into a gripping, four-minute mystery. Through meticulous use of cinematic techniques, innovative editing, and a carefully crafted narrative, we turned a basic concept into an engaging cinematic experience. While I handled most of the editing, Max and I collaborated closely on writing, directing, and producing this film, all within the tight schedule of our college timetable. This project not only challenged our skills but also ignited our passion for storytelling.
This short film represents my first solo endeavour in bringing a complex narrative to life. In this four-minute piece, which I wrote, directed, and edited, I aimed to spotlight the dangers of phone use while driving and its severe impact on both the driver and others on the road. My goal was to craft a compelling story that underscores the risks and harm associated with distracted driving. By employing creative editing techniques alongside a thoughtfully constructed narrative, this project stands as a short film with an important meaning with a compelling, valuable message for those of all demographics.
